Laughing Matter is a nonprofit organization that organizes and delivers improv comedy to places of therapy. Past audiences have included residents and patrons of hospitals, homeless shelters, and senior homes. Laughing Matter operates in Greater Boston with plans to expand to other cities underway. It counts among its past list of venues Boston Healthcare for the Homeless, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Youville Hospital, Pine Street Inn, Somerville Home, and Hale Barnard Services for Older People.
